Inverclyde Carers Centre provide Befriending Support through a team of trained and vetted volunteers. We will be expanding this to offer a Befriending Service to Carers in Inverclyde who are registered with the Centre and will be expected to self-isolate over the coming weeks.
Those who sign up for the service will receive a regular call from a fully-vetted volunteer or staff member, and if needed, we can make referrals onto other services or support that will enable those who are self-isolating to live as healthy and independent a life whilst they remain at home.
