Unpaid Carers who require PPE should contact Inverclyde Carer’s Centre: 01475 735180 or enquiries@inverclydecarerscentre.org.uk Monday to Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm
- Carer centre staff will complete an initial triage comprising of a standardised and brief Q & A session in order to make decisions about need and prioritisation.
- The questions take into account the COVID19 advice for unpaid Carers providing personal care as published by Scottish Government.
- The Carer Centre will contact HSCP PPE Hub by either telephone or e-mail with request and adhering to GDPR Guidance.
- Inverclyde HSCP PPE Hub will contact the Carer direct and arrange delivery of the PPE.
- Unpaid Carers will continue to source their own stock of PPE as per business as usual, where this fails, the local Hub will provide PPE.
- Supplies will be used in line with guidance distributed equitably according to need.
