We visited Kirrie Connections as part of Inverclyde Care Co-ordination Programme, which will help improve people living with Dementia and their carers experiences.
Our manager Lorna visited Kirrie Connections, a dementia friendly community hub, as part of Inverclyde Care Co-ordination Programme. The Inverclyde Care Co-ordination Programme will help improve people living with Dementia and their carers experiences.
“The atmosphere was very relaxed and the three men I chatted to over lunch certainly spoke of how at home they felt and that they were well taken care off. I was particulaly interested to hear that in other areas meeting places are operated on a roaming basis and feel this is something I would like to see developed in Inverclyde, as we already have many community centres spread across the area.”
