Did you see us on The One Show on Monday 11th March?
We had the BBC in the Centre filming a feature called ‘Caring for Carers’ for The One Show. The feature was presented by Jane McCarry a.k.a Isa from Still Game, who is a Carer herself. The feature was about ‘Sandwich Carers’, a term used to describe someone looking after young children at the same time as caring for older relatives.
Jane visited one of our Carers at home to dicuss her caring role then visited the Centre to have a chat with our Youth Worker Stacey to see what support we can provide Carers. We had a few Carers in the Centre who got to meet Jane and get a few pictures.
